Marlene loved playing cards, in particular UNO, which seemed to bring out her competitive nature :) She would never hesitate to nobble the opposition, whether it be on of her beloved grandchildren, daughter in law or even her own son - the words we never wanted to hear in UNO were 'Sorry about this (look at whoever was next to her) but ...' and then watch as she put card after card down and listed all the turns you had to miss and how many cards you had to pick up. Great fun!
